If available, an elder local artisan will demonstrate the art of pottery-making, showing you how traditional clay pots are used for heating matte.

Depending on the season, roll up your sleeves and join in the preparation of traditional Lebanese mouneh (traditional practice of preserving seasonal fruits, vegetables, and dairy products through drying, pickling, or fermenting to ensure food availability year-round). Learn the secrets of making makdous, a delicious preserved eggplant pickle, or other seasonal preserves that have been passed down for generations.
