Breakfast & Saj Making

Kickstart your day with a traditional Saj breakfast at a small, family-owned home bakery. Breakfast will begin at 10:00 am, as the journey takes approximately 2 hours. You'll also have the opportunity to learn and try your hand at shaping and baking Saj dough yourself. For wine enthusiasts, enjoy an optional wine-tasting at Noujaim’s home micro-winery.

Explore Maasser el Chouf & Baadaran

Walk through the majestic Cedars of Maasser el Chouf forest, learn about the region’s biodiversity and conservation efforts. Then explore Baadaran’s village unique hidden gems. Meet Nazih Baz, a skilled craftsman who will introduce us to the traditional and endangered craft of silk and wool weaving, known as Nol weaving.

Mokhtara Village & Late Lunch

Enjoy a lovely lunch at a charming Lebanese restaurant in the village of Mokhtara, where you'll be surrounded by a beautiful natural setting including a waterfall. The restaurant offers a delicious variety of mezza, bursting with the vibrant flavors of Lebanese cuisine. Your day host will assist you in selecting the best dishes to ensure you experience a diverse range of Lebanese flavors.
