Day 1: Welcome Home – Arrival in Beirut (The first breath)

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Gemmayzeh (Beirut)
Activities:

  • Airport pickup and check-in at a heritage accommodation
  • Rest, with optional small walk around (depending on arrival time)
  • Welcome dinner at a local Beirut restaurant (For a taste of home)

Day 2: Beirut (A walk down memory lane), Jeita & Harissa

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Gemmayzeh (Beirut)
Activities:

  • Traditional Breakfast
  • Reconnect with the capital of our country during a morning walk in Beirut Central District, walking by some of the city’s main landmarks and heritage neighborhoods
  • Guided tour of the National Museum to rediscover Lebanon’s rich history
  • Walk in Hamra & pause for a Lebanese coffee
  • Street food lunch: savor iconic falafel and juicy shawarma
  • Explore the Jeita Grotto, Lebanon’s natural wonder
  • Experience the serenity of Lady of Lebanon sanctuary and enjoy our favorite breathtaking view of the Mediterranean over the Bay of Jounieh
  • Sunset Time at Raouche Rocks (Optional Boat Ride)

Day 3: South Lebanon: Souks, Sweets & Seaside Stories

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Gemmayzeh
Activities:

  • Lebanese breakfast
  • Traditional Knefeh Stop in Sidon - One of our favorite in Lebanon
  • Explore Sidon’s old souks
  • Learn about traditional soap making and its history
  • Lunch in Tyre by the old harbor
  • Let’s go back 2,000 years at Tyre archeological site: Roman Hyppodrome
  • Optional time to relax at Lebanon’s most beautiful sandy beach

Day 4: Chouf Heritage & Village Flavors

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Chouf
Activities:

  • Traditional Breakfast
  • Try the Levantine Kaak
  • A Heritage walk in Deir El Qamar, one of the most characteristic villages in Lebanon
  • Know more about Lebanon’s history at Beiteddine Palace
  • Village lunch experience featuring a warm cultural encounter with a welcoming local host: including a homemade meal and a hands-on activity such as mouneh-making.

Day 5: Weaving Stories

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Chouf
Activities:

  • Saj-making session: join a local village grandma to roll, bake, and enjoy freshly made Lebanese flatbread with classic toppings
  • Learn about one of Lebanon’s oldest traditional crafts (loom weaving, known locally as Nol) from a skilled craftsman
  • Take in breathtaking mountain views from a hidden village viewpoint
  • A tasty local lunch
  • Visit to Mokhtara Palace (if available)

Day 6: Baalbek Bites, Wine & Wonders

Accommodation: Accommodation in Beqaa
Activities:

  • Traditional local breakfast and check-out
  • Stop by the majestic Cedar Reserve of Maaser El Chouf on our way to the Beqaa
  • Wine tasting at one of the most prominent Lebanese Wineries
  • Lunch (street food style)
  • Visit one of the world’s most unique wine caves
  • Let’s go back more than 2000 years in time with a guided visit at the Baalbek Temples
  • Try sfiha Baalbakiyye (a Baalbek specialty) fresh from a local bakery

Day 7: Batroun Encounters

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Batroun
Activities:

  • Check-Out following a good traditional breakfast
  • Cultural activity (Cultural village tour or Dabke workshop...)
  • Lebanese Lunch hosted by a village local Host
  • Explore the vibrant city of Batroun
  • Intro Walk in the old town and trying its famous Lemonade

Day 8: Olive Trails & Heritage

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Batroun
Activities:

  • Visit to the unique Baatara Sinkhole / Balouu Balaa
  • An olive experience in our Lebanese mountains
  • Traditional lunch with villagers
  • Optional Activity if time and energy allows: Short hike towards a beautiful waterfall
  • Back to Batroun for sunset (Free time to enjoy old town or beach if weather allows)

Day 9: Cedars, Sahlab & Sacred Valleys

Accommodation: Heritage accommodation in Batroun
Activities:

  • Stop at Saydet El Nouriyyeh Monastery with a marvelous view overlooking the Mediterranean
  • Art and legacy: visit Gebran Khalil Gebran’s hometown and museum
  • Walk through the Cedars of God
  • Lunch
  • Tour in the town of Ehden
  • Stroll and tasting Ehden’s famous Sahlab at Ehden’s Midane
  • Visit to a monastery in Qadisha Valley (we might cross paths with a resident monk)

Day 10: Markets, Sweets & Ancient Stones

Activities:

  • Early breakfast
  • Explore the old souks, meet soap artisans and copper artisans, visit the citadel of Raymond de St. Gilles, and the still functioning Hammams
  • Indulge in Tripoli’s legendary traditional sweets, a real treat!
  • Tasty Lunch at a winery
  • Get to know more about Lebanon’s history at one of the world’s continuously inhabited cities, Byblos, with a walk in the old town, harbour and archeological site
  • Final check-in in Beirut
