A Start in Becharreh
We’ll begin the day with fresh air and fresh manoushe at a beloved local bakery in Becharreh, a mountain town full of charm. Before we head higher, we’ll pause at a scenic hidden viewpoint of the Qadisha Valley: one of Lebanon’s most sacred and dramatic landscapes.

The Cedars’ Whisper
Next, we’ll walk among the mighty Cedars of God, some of the oldest living trees on earth, rooted in both legend and landscape.

Lunch in the Sky at Oyoun Orghosh
Now get ready for one of the most stunning drives in Lebanon. We’ll climb close to 2,600 meters, passing rugged peaks and wide open views; this is the highest road in the country, and it feels like driving through the sky. As we cross through Lebanon’s tallest mountain, the road begins to wind down into a hidden valley: Oyoun Orghosh. Tucked at 2,000 meters above sea level, this magical spot is buried under snow all winter and only becomes reachable in summer. We’ll stop for a delicious and refreshing lunch by the lake.

The Stones of the Sun: Baalbek
Our final adventure takes us east, to the Bekaa Valley, where the Roman temples of Baalbek rise like something from a myth. You’ll step into one of the most impressive Roman temple sites in the world.The Temple of Jupiter here was the largest temple dedicated to the king of the Roman gods. Nearby, the Temple of Bacchus remains well-preserved, its detailed carvings and grand scale offering a glimpse into the lavish celebrations held in honor of the god of wine and festivity. Walking among these giants, you can almost hear the echoes of ancient ceremonies and feel the weight of history all around you.

Quick Stop: The Roman Quarry
Before we leave Baalbek, we’ll make a short stop at the nearby Roman quarry, home to some of the largest stones ever carved by human hands. Among them are blocks estimated to weigh over 1,000 & even 2,000 tons, believed to be some of the heaviest stones ever cut in the ancient world. Standing beside these giants, you’ll get a true sense of the ambition and engineering genius during ancient times.
