Tour Plan

01

Medieval Vibes & Panoramic Views at Smar Jbeil

Our first stop brings us face to face with the past. We’ll climb up to the 12th-century citadel of Smar Jbeil, one of Lebanon’s lesser-known treasures. The view from up here is charming: green hills, sleepy villages, and a horizon that meets the sea. Just steps away, we’ll visit an ancient, roofless church that feels like something out of a legend.

  • Visit to Smar Jbeil Citadel & old medieval church
02

Pottery & Patience in Assia

In the peaceful village of Assia, a family of traditional potters will welcome us into their world. You’ll witness how earth turns to art, shaped slowly, lovingly, and the old-fashioned way.

  • Visit to family-owned workshop and demonstration
03

Olive Trail, Zouwedeh & Picnic

Welcome to Bechaaleh; Here, we’ll dive into a village experience alongside warm-hearted locals. We'll follow trails believed to hold some of the oldest millennial olive trees in the world. Then, we’ll experience the “Zouwedeh”, a traditional farmer’s lunch box and we will slow down for a traditional lunch. This is village life, revived Bechaaleh-style.

  • Guided cultural walk
  • Zouwedeh experience and traditional picnic lunch (included)
04

A Quick Stroll in Douma

Red roofs, stone houses, sleepy cats. Douma is as charming as it gets, and we’ll take a short walk through its preserved town center. You’ll have some time to peek into artisan shops or grab a local coffee or ice cream.

  • 30-minute walk in Douma
05

Choose Your End-of-Day Adventure

Option 1: Hike to Kfarhalda Waterfall

We’ll head down to the rushing waterfall of Kfarhalda, a tucked-away beauty you’ll hear before you see. Breathe deep. Dip your toes. Let the mountain do its magic. It’s a short hike (about 20 minutes downhill, one way), but keep in mind that the slope is steep.

  • Short hike to Kfarhalda waterfall
06

Option 2: Chill Time in Batroun

Prefer to wind down gently? We’ll have around 1.5 hours to explore Batroun’s seaside charm. Whether it’s a walk in the old town or a drink by the sea, this is your time to relax.

  • Time in Batroun’s old town
  • Optional: stop for drinks (not included in price)
07

Drive Back to Beirut

After a day full of memorable encounters and village charm, time to head back to the city.
